Rowena is passionate about spiritual formation, soul care and its intersection with neurobiology. She is trained as a Spiritual Director through Leadership Transformations Selah-Anglican program.
She is fascinated learning about Bowen Family Systems Theory, Internal Family Systems, Interpersonal Neurobiology and what it looks like to live a life of faith embodied and integrated internally and interpersonally.
It is an honor and privilege for her to listen and attune to clients during spiritual direction and coaching sessions as we all journey together and grow into our true selves in God. She has been a six time guest on The Best of You Podcast with Dr. Alison Cook and a guest on The Discerning Leader Podcast with Steve Macchia.
Originally from Canada, she has been living in Washington, D.C. for 11 years with her husband, Jon and their 4 children. She enjoys living a contemplative and creative life in a big and busy city but at a slow pace - writing, reading and running or biking to visit art museums. She is drawn to the arts and loves to have her hands in many creative endeavors - from food styling, interior design, floral design to pottery.
